It was great seeing everyone at the meeting on Thursday! There was a lot of information covered by the boosters so we have put together some important takeaways from the meeting along with some upcoming events:
Fundraisers:
Swing Into Spring: Parents purchased and were issued 10 tickets per player for the players to sell for the event. Tickets stubs need to be turned in on Saturday, April 9th between 3:30pm and 8:00pm at Riversbend. If you or your daughter absolutely cannot drop tickets off on the 9th, please send us an email so we can set up an alternate arrangement.
Volunteers: We will need volunteers at the event. Click on the link to view and sign up for shifts: SwingIntoSpring
Vertical Raise Online Fundraising:
Reminder to have the girls bring 20 valid emails on Tuesday, March 29th to get their web page set up. Zack Vogelsberg will be onsite to walk the girls through the setup process.
Tips on launching the campaign: Have your daughter reach out to friends and family members to verify their email addresses and to let them know to watch for an email this week related to an online fundraising campaign.
Parents and players can use the social media buttons to reach people through different social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter as well as texting the link to contacts.
Upcoming Scheduled Volunteer Opportunities:
Batting Cage Nets and Banners: Each year parent volunteers hang the nets on the outdoor batting cages near the varsity field and the banners on the outfield fence. We will be doing this on Thursday, March 31st at 5:00pm. This will take approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours. We will need 2-3 12 foot ladders to hang the nets and 2 ladders 6 ft+ for the banners.
